Adam has already been to 17 cities for the american idol tour as of yesterday. 33 more to go? wow sounds unbelievable, but he must be enjoying every moment of that since it's his dream come true(: So as adam continues his exciting tour around the whole of u.s., life goes on for me here. seems like adam still hasnt fixed his twitter after it was being hacked by idots two weeks ago.): missing his tweets.. sigh. still waiting for his bubble tweet when he gets it running back again. everyone is waititng i guess. especially when more and more people each day are following him, hitting a high of 121,905 followers this moment. the numbers are increasing every moment. hopefully the damn hackers did not ruin this whole thing such that he will no longer use twitter to communicate with us. sigh. a bunch of attention-seeking lame jerks.

Had a chat with my form teacher yesterday in relation to the university courses. I raised up that i was aiming for medicine/psychology. besides of the fact that medicine is a course where the demands far exceed the supplies, i'm unsure if thats what i really want. It is on the basis that im interested with psychology that brought my attention to medicine- psychiatry. The big gap here is that psychology is a social science and medicine is a course to be recognised as doctors. psychology will focus on the mire general aspects of human behaviour, with statistical calculations involved, where psychiatry i beleive, i the study of how the neurones in the brain works or crosses path which results in the way human behaves. The catch is that for psychiatry, we have to go through 5 years of general course under medicine before specialising in it. not many ca 'live through' that 5 years, especially if that is not where my interest lies in. Ofcourse, the prospects of the two differs (perhaps stereotypically,) but psychiatry will have better prospects in terms that you are a doctor. I do not want to have a counsellor sort of career out of psychology. It is also a long way to go far beyond the basic 4-5 years before being recognized as a psychologist. So well, here's the gap. Due to my unusual subject combination, such that no one in my level has the same combi as me, i have limited choices as to uni courses. hopefully i am working towards that two choices. Based on my current term exam grades, it is obvious that no, im no way near, and neither am i on the path of going towards that goal. competition is stiff. well, what more to explain for that wouldn't help. start working towards the promos in 2 months time would sound more practical. (:

Just wondering how many people can have the platform like adam to fulfill his dream. he's a really lucky dude. everything was right for him , and more than others would be the timing. just like he answered to why wasnt he discovered much early, he answered that the timing is right now. true enough, at this age of 27, he is ready to live his legacy in the show biz. Should he audit for american idol 8 years ago, he would have probably screwed it up despite his talents. the timing is just right now, and it is his time to get a standing in the show biz, as a entertainer. lucky him. the american idol show provided him wih the excellent platform for him to skyrocket up to success and fame in the shortest possible time. he had it all, all it takes to be an iconic symbol on the very first day [just as randy always repeat during his critics, since day one...]. He just needed a platform to gain recognition and support from the whole of american as well as internationally. he made it. he's gonna shine and rock it out in the show biz for the many years to come. (:

He always tries to perform the same piece in various different manners, and the first show at Portland when he did this piece was far from this one here. His performance is getting sexier each time. Can't imagine what extent the last few shows will go to. Unbelievable. Adamazing. *adamgasm* gasp. {Adam- American Idol tour}

So i have been constantly watching vids of adam performing during the AI tour at various cities. To date, he already performed in 15 cities out the the 50 in total. The tour kicked off on the 5th of july, at Rose Garden in Portland, OR. The tour is currently still going on, and the last stop will be at Manchester, NH on 15 september. As i was watching, i started to feel that adam must be totally drained and exhausted. The concerts are ongoing either continuously everyday, or at most with a 1 day break in between. How tiring is that! Travelling all around america for 3 months consistently and having to perform 50 shows. wow. i cant imagine it. It's a new experience for every group of audience in every city, but for the man, he has to do the same things almost everyday for 50 times in 3 months! Okay thats alarming. However so, i hope that adam will still hold the passion for every performance and do every show with his heart and soul like he has always been doing. I know he will. (: Go ADAM!

[Adam was singing the duet Slow Ride with Allison iraheta. Apparently, adam was so hot that the fans lost it and threw their bra and underwear up on stage! Allison kicked the bra to adam & he picked it up and swung it and threw it back to the audience! now that's hot. when asked about fans throwing their underwears up on stage in an interview at the LA Staples Center, adam says that he thinks that it is hilarious and flattering and it makes the concert for him. Unbelievable atmosphere it must be there and then. adam must be sizzling hot! :O]

{pre-essay: Is work the only route to a meaningful life?}

i really wanna blog about what i wanted to yesterday, (but failed to as i dozed off,) but before that i will have to complete my gp essae thats due tmr. :/ So there are 16 questions to choose from, and thats probably too many choices which leaves me with a dilema of which question to choose :S i picked out a couple of possible qns that i might want to do: "In the modern society, women have greater responsibilities than men. Is this true?"- which at first i thought might be easy to do since i study Women in Literature, but i somehow do not know how to take a stand with this statement as it is very subjective. So the next one is " A generation lacking in character and vision. Is this an accurate description of youths today?"- hmm..this qn is kinda -.- I will have to probably bring myself down for that because i think it might just be true. "The young generation today is more fortunate than their predecessors. Discuss."- this qn might be just suitable to write on, however im more attracted to the other qn: "Work is the only route to a meaningful life. Comment."- aha. this is that kinda philosophical topic that i loved to write about, just like my previous blog post on the other blog where the topic is Is that all to life?- which presumely aroused some worries in the people who read that post :P HAha. So this topic is an interesting one to write about informally, like on the blog here, but to substantiate it with facts and credible examples to back me up will be kindof a challenge. Another one which caught my eye is "Do you think leisure is now more important than before?"- this one i definitely agree to personally. why? because it IS important. no whys. with that, i probably should never choose that as the question to write on for my assignment. HAaha. there are ofcourse many other qns as i said there were sixteen, but i guess i shall choose that philosophical qn on "Work is the only route to a meaningful life. Comment." Let me develop the essay here- the very comfortable place [my glambert bloggie] before i copy it out on paper till my hand breaks haha. :S

Work here is defined as the jobs and occupations that adults take up, and the studies that students are engaged with for many years in the early stages of their lives. A meaningful life is one that is fulfilling where one finds satisfaction and feels complete. The quotation and assumption in this question is that work is the only path to achieve a purposeful life. I disagree with this assumption that work is the one and only path to attain a meaningful life. There are many part and parcels that makes up ones life and similarly, there are many essential elements that constitute to a meaningful life. It is doubtless that work is essential in ones life, however, it is not the only route to a meaningful life. The other elements that constitute to a meaningful life is such as doing community service, having a goal in life, having passion for life and in what one undertakes, having a blissful family and trustworthy friends, as well as believing in a positive philosophy about life.

Work is an essential component to ones life and to some, their life is made meaningful by being successful in their work. Work in the form of the industry, as a means of earning one's livelihood is one of the greatest responsibility of adulthood. Working is essential to be financially adequate to provide for oneself. By being successful in one's work to some, is to gain a certain title and rank in their job. To people with such beliefs, success in work will make their life meaningful because they find the significance of themselves in the area or work. By feeling respected and possesing authority in a field of work can be a source of confidence and thus they will feel that their life is meaningful through this. As for work in the form of educational responsibility for a student, being able to do well in examinations will make them feel more of relieved rather that feeling that their life is made meaningful by this. Thus, although work may be a route to a meaningful life to some, it is not the only route as there as many other routes that may cater to others.

Firstly, going all the way out to provide help to others is a route to a meaningful life. This is such as people who does community services. People who does community services holds the perspective that although this might not be able to provide them with impressive titles or high salaries, they find it meaningful because the job itself is meaningful. They do not hope for any repay. People with such belief will find that their work is a route to a meaningful life because the job carries a purposeful objective. Doing community services is also a way of repaying the society. There are many non-profitable organisations that organises community service projects such as the grassroots organisation and the community development council. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a registered animals welfare charity organisation. It relies on donations to continue on their role as animal protector. There are also other charitable organisations such as the National Kidney Foundation. These people holds the beliefs that giving is more fortunate than receiving. Therefore, having the ability to do provide help to the needy people and the less fortunate people is one of the route to a meaningful life.

Another route to a meaningful life is having a goal in life. Having a goal in life is one of the key elements to a meaningful life. When one has a goal in life, one will then create a vision in the mind unconsciously and works towards the achieving the goal. In the process of working towards that one thing, life will be made meaningful. Working hard for onself through planning, time management and self motivation will make the life meaningful. A goal provides a purpose in life, which is essential towards having a purposeful life. Therefore, having a goal in life is a route to a meaningful life.

Having passion in life is also a route to a meaningful life. Having passion in the things people undertake will make the task meaningful which constitutes to a meaningful life. Passion is an emotional feeling that is a key element in making the things one do meaningful. There are many things in life that people undertake, but whether or not the task makes life meaningful is more often than not based on the process rather than the outcome. What makes the process different is the mindset that people possess while carrying the task out. If passion is present, the task will become meaningful. For example, on 23 May 2001, at the age of sixteen years old, Temba Tsheri Sherpa became the youngest person to reach the summit of Mount Everest. After failing on his first attempt in April 2000, he vowed to come back again, and he eventually fulfilled his dream. All these boils down to having passion and his life is made meaningful but fighting and working towards his dream, although he lost five fingers altogether due to frostbites. Today, he continues to hold the record in the Guinness Book of World Records. The one task of many in life is a small picture as compared to life which is the big picture, but both possess parallels to each other. Therefore, similarly to live a meaningful life, one must have passion for life. Thus passion is a route to a meaningful life.

Another route to a meaningful life is to have a blissful family and trustworthy friends. To many, family is the pillar of support and similarly, friendS provide company and support. There are many things that makes up one's life and family and friends occupies a big part of it. These people provides a sense of support and security. These are the people who will always be there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. At times when one feels down or troubled, family and friends play a crucial role to bring one through the tough times. These are the people who will take one by the hand and show him that he can achieve his dreams when he experienced setbacks. In fact at times, one might neglect the importance of this element to a meaningful life. For example, some may focus too much on their careers and think that success in that area will bring the sense of fulfillment that is sufficient to live a meaningful life. However, one may still feel a sense of emptiness even with success, status and financial capability. This is where this part that is lacking will create a gap between a meaningful and complete life, and a materialistically satisfying life. Even so, a blissful family and trustworthy friends will not be present on its own. One must devote the time and effort to manage the family in order to create a complete and blissful one,as well as to build a strong friendship. Thus, having a blissful family and trustworthy friends will be a route to a meaningful life.

Lastly, believing in a positive philosophy is also a route to a meaningful life. Whether or not life is fulfilling or meaningful largely depends on one's mindset. If one carries a pessimistic attitude towards everything in life, no matter what one does, he will not feel that life is meaningful. By upholding and developing a positive attitude towards life and the future, it is a route to a meaningful life. One has the choice of creating and deciding on the system of values by which one lives, which in other words is the philosophy of life. How one's philosophy of life is shaped is based on oneself and that directly affects whether life is meaningful. Therefore, believing in a positive philosophy of life is a route to a meaningful life.

In conclusion, there are many routes to a meaningful life, and work is not the only route. Doing community service, having a goal in life, having passion for life and in what one undertakes, having a blissful family and trustworthy friends, as well as believing in a positive philosophy about life are all routes to a meaningful life. Different routes cater to different people and there is no absolute route. What constitutes to a meaningful life is very subjective and it boils down to everyone's own perspectives. Therefore, everyone should look for a route that caters to oneself and work towards living a meaningful life.

Previously on 1st june, a video and photo of adam and his boy Drake LaBry was captured as they exited the Guys and Dolls nightclub at west hollywood. That's kinda a formal revealation to the media and public about their relationship as they decided

to come out holding hands. 24 years old interior designer Drake, from Louisiana is almost always present every week, sitting with adam's family during the american idol show. So it was kinda already known at that time that the two must have something going on then.

They also went for lunch together in Venice, CA and walked q

uite a journey back to the car together as they 'entertained' the reporter. Adam kept his cool when the reporter persistently makes annoying request and just wouldn't leave them alone.They seemed really sweet together throughout the meal. (:

The day after they were snapped at the nightclub, they were seen together again shopping at the posh boutique Kitson Men at L.A. Adam, according to Entertainment Tonight, bought a Marc Jacobs blazer for his beau, reportedly worth US$358.

On the american idol tour concert last night (i suppose, due to time lapse i cant be sure), adam took a photo with his boy at backstage. I'm not so sure if they are really compatible, but they sure do look cute together. So drake is a really lucky guy to have adam in his life! We glamberts and gals are ofcourse jealous that drake 'stole' our man, but that's just for laughs, cuz they really look happy tgt and thats all that really mattered. (:

I just saw the vid of Adam @ the L.A. Staples Center on 16 jul. He looked simply flawless and amazzzing as ever! haha he was really cute with the interviewer and the camera as the camera supposedly got really close to his face and he was kinda intimidated by that. he zoomed out himself!! HAhaha that's really hilarious! :D so there's this one part of the interview when he was told that many people in singapore and mexico hoped that he would go over, and he was asked if the AI tour would go over. his reply was that it is unlikely for the AI tour to go out of the country, but he hopes that his album cld be released worldwide this fall, & that is the album goes well, he might just go there for a concert!! O M G O M G. be sure he keep his word!! i wld 1000% go to his concert if he comes over. i'm waitin'! :D haha so glad to hear that. that was wad i asked him on twitter, but it has been like almost a week since he last twittered. sadly, on the other interview above, adam said that his twitter was hacked and they're still tryin to fix it. waiting for his bubble tweet.. hope he get's it runnin back soon.. [still looking for a chance to 'catch' him on twitter ;)] haha omg i loveeee him!

so yesterday, due to sm unforseen circumstances, i did not go to my cca. instead, i ended up in jurong pt and had a really fulfilling meetup with my BFF liadeO! haha we had lunch at pizza hut, and i was eating really slow as we chatted, and suddenly the lights were off. she said "hurry up eat! they are gonna close already" & i was like laughing and like what pizza hut doesnt close in the middle of the day... haha suddenly the lights started flashing on and off and the happy birthday song came down. so someone was celebrating bd there. haha i cld hv imagine the ppl who walk past the hut at the time wld hv tot that there was a short circuit. HAHAhaha. so i let her watched the vid of adam on my hp and we laughed at a particular scene till we simply fell on the sofa. HAHA it's hilarious. the scene whr adam and allison was singing slow ride at the AI tour and somebody apparrently threw some 'stuffs' on stage. HAHAHA then we left for bakerzin where we shared a cheapo chocolate amber cake. haha we eventually ended the day by buying a slice of keychain bread for each other from breadou. it was like real!! And they also sell plain bread and u can buy the specialised ink to design ur bread. if only i cld draw adam, i wld surely buy the plain bread and draw him on it and squeeze him! LOL :D

It's been kinda long since i last blogged..did have many things to update but can't rmb much now.. hmm let me think.. so everytime when i use the computer, i wld wanna blog, but before that, i would always go on youtube first to look for new vids of adam (like the AI tour), or if not, usual vids that i have seen many times, like those that he sang at the Upright Cabaret. so i always intend to watch it once, and then play it again and listen to it while blogging and stuff. (cuz the songs of him in my hp must hv been listened to a million times- although it's still indeed really nice & prety addictive, i need him to release his album real soon!) However, the thing is that i can never minimize the youtube window and just listen to it. i will watch and watch and look for more and stuff until it's time for lesson and there goes my chance to blog.

Today, i found the live vids of adam's american idol performances! oh my. im so glad (: i didnt really catch him when it was telecast on tv, and m really glad to find all his Live performances. so i watched thru like the 20 vids, idk , i lost count. n i'm like *speechless*. stunned. what was that?! my goodness. so blown away by that. who can withstand that man. So i realise that the judges repeat their comments every week. like literally- on his amazing performance, like "who can hit those notes?" "i never knew these notes existed" "we'll be seeing you in the finals" "you are ready now dude" "the best performance of the night" & the constant repetition of "since day 1... [compliments]". I have never heard simon praise someone so much before too. and, paula abdul who is totally mesmerized with adam, tearing up on various occasions. [OkaY, got caught up again with the vids. who can ever get enough of him. He's such a drug. lol.] Alright, so the american idols tour vids are amazzzing too, all the dance moves- those that he sorta touches himself- whooo :O you're taking our breath away, dude. really wished i could be there... will he ever cm here to promote probably his new album? quite unlikely i guess..he doesnt need go cm this far with no guarenteed support. well even idk hw many fans he has here. so he will just do well enough in us with a big enough fans base to ensure that he rocket up the charts. i will really make an effort, somehow, someday, i will make it to see him in person! (:

haaha i could so totally go on and on and on as i said before right, but let mer save some for tmr. [okay i sound like a broken recorder]. So despite being mesmerized so deeply by adam, i do realise in reality that this is taking up so much of my time. it's undeniable that it's extremely enjoyable, just looking at his vids and listening to his charasmatic vocals. so while enjoying myself, the last thing i shld do is neglect my studies right, if so, he will become a bad influence as a kinda distraction. i shall not let that happen, though it might be inclined to that soon if not already so.. ALright, i will stop that from happening. [= While enjoying his fame, & that rock star lifestyle that he had always dreames for, i'm sure he's working real hard towards his success. the AI tour of like 50 cities is sure to be tiring and a certain amt of effort and hardwork must have been invested. plus the main project of his career, the making of his debut album. So i am gonna work hard with him! [an amazing source of inspiration & motivation(: ] im gonna put this iconic idol of mine into gd use. i promise i will work hard while thinking of him, & our dreams will cm true by the end of the year! LovE him lots!! (=

This week is the ultimate week that i'm so over the top abt adam(: I never knew this week would come, ahahah. Well i was a fanatic, but it has been such a looong time since i fell so deep into an artist. This man has a seriuosly addictive voice. Once u heard such a voice, u can't go without it anymore. So his songs has been repeatedly played for many many many hours each day, plus the vids (he's looks and dance moves r addictive too). :D His amazing high pitch voice and... Okay i realize that i can't stop complimenting him. :p every post on this blog so far complimented him in one way or another (or perhaps i repeated some). it's hard to stop doing this though(: Haha so as i was twittering i saw his reply to some of his fans and that emotion was ofcuz envious and jealous. i mean who wouldn't be right. Just wondering what kind of tweets would gain his attention and make him feel worthy to reply to... I mean he doesnt twit often i believe, so when he twits, he must have countless tweets on his wall posted by fans. he cant possibly reply to all of them, so there will just be this lucky few, or perhaps just one that he replies to. His reply means a whole lot to us glamberts (: The day should come i guess, we just have to wait until it's our turn(: ofcuz, twats wouldn't gain any reply for him so we shouldn't twatter him. HAha(: Okay i could just go on and on and on and on about him, as i have done for the past few days but it will be never ending, so let me save some for tmr (:

I'm excited to go hm today to put on my black nailpolish! But the sad thing is, i can only put on my toenails ): that's really depressing. i would never get a chance to put on my fingernails anymore! i could do so during holidays last time, but now as i resumed my piano lessons, the teacher simply has something against nailpolish! I understand that i have to keep my fingernails short to play the piano to avoid taping, but what's it with nailpolish? not as if it will discolour and stain her piano. ): anw, black nailpolish matches the piano to a T ok. >:-< Rahhh.

So tmr, for the very first time, my pw grp is gonna meet up to do pw. there's this unequal division of the no. of grp members per grp. some grp has 5 while ours has 4. and, the pathetic thing is that our leader, has gone on a overseas sch trip and would b back till aug! by the time she's back, the proj is due. Totally pathetic man. )": I used to like pw but now that i have so much difficulties doing research and an extra workload as compared to other grp, with a really tight timeline, this sucks! XP Arrgh. so we r gonna meet aft my piano lsn at 1pm at macs (which isn't a really exciting plc, but ofcuz better than gg to lib). I have loads of things to do, like pw EOM which is indiv work, and i have to annotate my gp reading package that has like 60+ pages as the test is nxt thur. ): actually all these cld be at least half done by today, but as i say, it's adam madness week so all the time went to him :P. Anw, the meetup should end by 5, and that wld b just the right time to go and pick up mummy frm suntec, and the SaturdaY can then truly begin where we start to shop (: Hopefully it will be a fun weekend(: n hopefully adam will twit more often(:

The class 95 broadcast of AT40 ends today. Yesterday was tough for me, as i got home early at ard 2+pm. The sleepy zz monsters hit at at ard 3+ and i was really trying my best to fight them to stay awake and wait for AT40 at 4pm. I was dozing off here and there with the earphones stuck in my ears, and hey that's Adan's voice! Yay thank god i woke up when the show began. (: So i enjoyed listening to Adam and kris and adam was really funny & humorous. :D hahaha he seriously has the ability to make effortless jokes that are seriously funny. (: Today, school ends late at 4.45pm. I tried my best to keep the earphones in my ear at all times and yay it's adam again. (: So they continued making effortless jokes through their conversation and i couldnt stop smiling to myself [i shld look like a nut i guess]. HAha anw, so when the show was coming to an end, adam said sth like "we are abt to leave, but just before that the producers want to put me on the spot". so there the voicemail was played with a lady asking kris about adam's confession of crush on him. haha a sense of awkwardness should be present in the studio at that time i guess :p hahaha so there. since adam openly confessed to the reporters that he had a crush on kris, the whole world is asking them on that. HAha his explanation was that a crush is normal and harmless, and that "it is not as if me and kris had a ---[silence]" (sth like that), followed by laughters. Haha that was really funny! I'm sure it's pure buddy friendship between the guys and nothing deeper into that. (: on another vid that i watched on youtube today, the interviewer asked who will take the upper deck of the bunk in the tour bus. Kris gave an expression that he had no answer to that, however, almost immediately, Adam blurt out "I like the top". HAHAHA okay that sounded really wrong and it followed by a series of laughter as Adam admitted "that was inappropriate". Hahaha yes, indeed. Anw, this guy is just a bubbly and cheerful guy who is seriously humorous (: Another vid on youtube that is worth mentioning is the vid on adam funny clips, where it showed all the funny stuffs that adam did. HAHAHA couldn't stop giggling. You're really cool dude! :D well that's a gift that adam is able to make people laugh with what he says and does, and what's more is how he is able to touch all of our hearts with his amazing emotional vocals. So glad that this new blog is finaaaally up! (: This blog is obviously inspired by the sensational man- adam lambert. It's weird that im so mad about him lately as i wasn't an american idols follower. I didn't catch a single full episode of AI8 and did not see adam's performances at all except for a couple of mins during the finale. So the results were out, and surprisingly kris won the tittle. feeling kinda disappointed, and thats abt all that i felt at that time. Not long ago, i heard adam's singles No Boundaries on the radio, and i tot to myself "wo i like that song!" So i went online to search for this hit, and found a couple more that he performed in Idols. I listened to them, and "it's so good i can't get them out of my mind!" [quoted from adam on AT40] - that was how i felt totally. So it became more intense when i went on youtube to watch his vids and interviews last sat till 5am. That's it. That's when im sure that i'm reaaaally into him! (: I's so amazed by his incredible vocals and his ability to touch everyone with his voice. Ofcourse all Glamberts (adam's fans) do love him for his looks too. That's a huge attraction. His overall image, his guyliner, black nailpolish [from O.P.I.], accessories, and dressing style- it's overwhelmingly hot! Another part of him that has always been talked about constantly-his sexuality. He addressed all that everyone r questioning about in the Rolling Stones magz. He made it clear and that should end all the guessing and rumors and stuff. He should be respected for that and not be judged at. So the focus is back on his music- finally! We'll all looking forward to the release of his debut album during fall this year (:

So on the recent AT40, when adam and kris stood in for ryan seacrest, adam addressed the issues abot twitter and stuff. So there were lots of imposers that were pretending to be him and made us fans wonder if he's really on twitter. So i'm relieved that he said that his account is therealglambert (but has been currently changed to adamlambert) and that it is linked to his official site at adamofficial.com. yay sign of relieve. so that is really him (:(: that made me a twitterer instantly. (: how i wish i wish i wish i could be at the american idols 2009 US tour. : / that's literally impossible, so i shall just rely on the vids on youtube then, better than nth : /
So anyway, wishing him all the best! Glad that he is enjoying his after-idols life that is fully packed! =D

WHY I'M OBSSESSED WITH ADAM!

Along all this way of being a Glambert so far, I've been asked by many what exactly it is that is so attractive about Adam Lambert. I can only say Everything. It's hard to describe us Glambert's love for Adam in a few words. Well let him do the description of himself then. He revealed on adamofficial.com QOTD 21Oct how he would sum up himself in three words: "Open-minded", "Intense", & "Friendly!". Indeed so we would all agree. As far as these three words sums him up to himself, they ain't enough to do justice for his incredible Talents.
Let's do a lil flashback of his past. Adam grew up in San Diego. After a few weeks as a musical theater major at a college in Orange County, he left to star in a play in San Diego. At 19, he worked as a singer in a musical revue on a cruise ship for a year. When he was 21, he moved to Hollywood to pursue his singing career and he travelled for six months in the European production of Hair. In 2004, he got great reviews playing Joshua in an ill-fated musical production of The Ten Commandments at the Kodak Theater in LA. He fell into a depression somewhere in 2006. "I got out of my first relationship and I was kinda downward-spirally," he says. "I was destructive, just numbing myself out." He started partying ar nightclubs and as he describes it, " being a slutbag." He was also drinking, "smoking a crap ton of weed" and doing coke.In 2007, he was cast in the chorus of the national tour of Wicked and finally making enough money to support himself - about $1800 a week. When he got back to L.A., he decided to try out for American Idol.
AI Season 8 provided the platform for him to shine and show the world what he has. That was all he needed. A platform. Adam was all ready, coming in a full package, the vocals and his unique style (the eyeliner, black nailpolish, n playing dress up). Much intense speculation went on during the course of the competition about his sexuality when intimate photos of Adam and his ex, Brad, surfaced in the net. After the season ended, Adam finally opened up and ceased the speculations about his sexual orientation. He confessed on the rolling stones that indeed, he is gay. This might not pretty much come as shocking for most, but still, it is a big one that he is addressing about. To date, Adam being a gay guy is very much accepted by the public, just as his current relationship with his boy, Drake LaBry is envied by many. Even as a gay guy, Adam is well loved by both sexes. Yes. Women LOVES Adam. Crazy things that female fans did during the Idols Live Tour includes throwing up their bras and underwears onstage to Adam. Adam responds, " But me and panties, that's just a little bit freaky. I think it's weird that I'm having this effect on women. It's flattering. I've never had underwear thrown at me before." Indeed so, that is exactly how Insane us females are over him. Though as a gay, Adam admits he is bi-curious, "I'm gay, but I like kissing women sometimes. Women are pretty.". Hell, yeah that's great news to us. LOL :D A performer who stands by his beliefs and style he is. During his set of Led Zepplin's Whole Lotta Love in the Idols Live Tour, as quoted from Details magz, "Americans of every persuasion proved themselves defenseless against Lambert's vigorous pelvic exertions." "Moral majorities found his style scandalous, but Lambert offers no apologies." As one of his tweet goes, his music his sexy, and if sexy scares you, don't listen. We'r all in this and totally captivated by his performance. Indulged in dressing up, Adam is undeniably a fashion icon. "I like to get real pretty", he says. ;D
Adam won the Young Hollywood Award- Artist of the year almost immediately after the season ended. How appropriate and encouraging that is to start off his music career for real. The media coverage he had was intense. Including the coverage for his photoshoot for Details Magazine Nov issue, where Adam daringly walks on fire by posing intimately with a nude female model and even tongue-ing her down. The Adam Craze accelerated with the leakage of the photos on 18 Oct. Adam was a total sex on fire as most would describe as in these shots. Indeed, "I never do anything to play it safe.", he says. Another media coverage was his appearance for the AMA nominees announcement on 13 Oct. A big news he announced on the same day, he will be performing his single on the AMAs on 22 Nov! It's a huge thing that he himself and us are looking forward to. Following the release of his single Time For Miracles on 2O Oct, the movie 2012 theme song, his single from the album is ready to drop anytime. With the latest confirmation, his debut album will be called "For Your Entertainment" and is due to drop on 23 NOV. The intense anticipation of his album is growing in the showbiz and all around the world. Adam promises the album to be a "rock-pop-electronic-dance thing" and describes it as "as if a '70s time-capsule blasted off into space and you're watching it through a holographic filter". What brilliant wordage that is. Some tittles of the songs have been revealed, such as "Entertainment", "Music Again", "Winners", "Strut", "Suburbia decay". The Adamstorm is brewing and he's so gonna blow everyone away with his music. GLAMROCK IS BACK BABY!
